Why platform and catalog products need separate orders

Some products on Master Distillers are platform services (courses, subscriptions, awards entries, and similar). Others are catalog products (spirits and related trade goods). These two types must be purchased in separate orders.

If you mix them in one cart, checkout is blocked and you will see a notice asking you to complete or empty the cart first.

What to do

1. Decide which type you want to buy first.
2. Remove the other type from the cart (or complete checkout for the current cart).
3. Place the second order afterward.

Tips

• Finish platform purchases (courses, listing plans, awards) before adding spirits to the cart — or the other way around.
• If you are unsure which product is which, empty the cart and add items one group at a time.
• Saved cards from one order type may not appear on the other — see Saved payment cards.

Contact support with a screenshot of your cart and the checkout message. Do not retry the same mixed cart repeatedly.
